[Full-time] 3D Character Animator - Mango Languages
As a 3D Character Animator at Mango Languages will be working at the leading edge of creating content for our language learning tools. You are skilled in animating stylized characters and scenes in a wide range of different ways. Each of these scenarios will effectively convey meaning and emotion to the audience in a beautiful way. You will be working closely with our talented team of linguists to create animations that help people to learn a new language in a way that has never been done before. On any given day you will be concepting and executing on your animation ideas in tandem with other artists, designers, and linguists. You will be instrumental in helping to create a 3D content creation pipeline that will result in stellar media assets for our products in a timely manner.

We are looking for a talented 3D Animator to be on the front lines of developing content for these new tools. Job Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and create character animations and 3D models for use in our language learning product that follow the Mango style.
Assist designers with concepting animation requirements.
Work with the Product Media Manager and Linguists to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar.
Serve as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.
Job Requirements
3 years minimum professional experience creating and animating bipedal figures in Cinema 4D.
Solid understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be applied to short-form animations.
Ability to effectively collaborate with other artists.
Proven problem-solving ability.
Self-motivated, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
Experience animating stylized characters including face animation.
Keen eye for detail and nuance.
Pluses
Experience modeling props and scenes in Cinema 4D.
Experience animating animals.
Experience animating clothing with Marvelous Designer (or similar clothing simulation tools).
Experience creating content for education.
