Orcari games are looking for a creative environment artist to develop stunning biomes and settings targeted at the current generation of consoles. Candidates should be pioneering, driven and self-motivated. The role is remote, so a high level of communication and self-management skills are key.
Requirements:
3+ years of industry experience
Portfolio containing multiple realistic assets and environments examples
Excellent knowledge of PBR, materials and functions
Strong experience in UE4 or relevant real-time engine
Strong experience with Maya or relevant 3D software
A natural eye for level design and flow
Good English skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality game environments from concept briefs and descriptions
Participate in the development of workflows and pipelines
Populating open environments
Creating modular environment kits
Working remotely and communicating daily with team members
Desirable:
Working with Megascan assets
Speedtree
Unreal Blueprints
2D concept skills
Experience with Houdini and procedural formation
