TOFH: Alchemist is an Open World Third Person RPG set in a fantasy created setting known as the Realm of Eternity. In the Realm of Eternity, you will encounter different races, creatures, and locations to learn about and explore. Journey through the realm and uncover the secrets of the Alchemist. ‘TOFH’ is the abbreviated name for Tales Of The Forgotten Heroes, the series title. Intended to be released for PC, and consoles.

Character Animator

  • Experience with Animation in Blender, 3DsMax or Maya required.
  • Willing to learn and use CC3 (Character Creator 3)
  • Expected to have proficiency with character rigging/animation, particle and visual FX, and cinematic animation
  • Experience with UE4 toolset a bonus.
  • Experience Retargeting Animations Preferred
  • Expected to meet deadlines and help expedite characters asset finalization

VFX Artist 
Someone that can bring the Magic into the game and make it look amazing. You will be required to have a somewhat knowledgeable background when working with particles. We will have portals, magic skills, potions, level up, etc. These will all require particle effects. You will need several months to a year of experience and prior showcasing of past work.

Character Modeler | Creature Modeler
Responsibilities
Create realistic high and low polygon 3D characters or creatures 
Create UVMaps, textures, and materials for characters following a PBR pipeline.
Create clothing variations and accessories for characters.
Build morph targets/blend shapes to support facial expressions.
Modify and optimize characters based on artistic feedback, animation needs, or technical limitations.
Requirements
Expertise in sculpting in Zbrush.
Expertise in modeling high and low polygon 3D models using 3DS Max or Maya.
Expertise in creating textures using a physically-based materials system such as Substance painter and designer.
Experience 3D game engine such as Unreal Engine 
Understand topology requirements for technical animators.
Understand technical performance and memory considerations and are committed to creating efficient meshes and textures.
Motivated self-starter with exceptional creativity and strong communication skills.
Passionate about developing high-quality video games.

Bonus Skills
Ability to create functional 2D illustrations and concepts for characters.
Experience with 3D animation and rigging.
Experience with CC3

Portfolio demonstrating high-poly and low-poly characters and textures that you have created. (required)

2D Artist - (Character Artist | Creature Artist)
You will need a strong passion for drawing and visualizing art styles. Some of the duties vary from sketches to Illustrations and in between. Sometimes you may need to assist the 3D Artist with textures and concept designs. UI/GUI, logos, and other marketing type PR pieces made also be needed at times. Must have 2+ years of experience and willing to take on challenges to push your skills further. (Since this position has so many levels to it we ask that you describe what type of 2D Art you're experienced with and if willing to take on multiple tasks.)
