Zbrush - Maya - Hair retopo path

Trying alot of hair methods, this looks how i want it, but is it even possible to retopo something complex with little stray hairs ect? i really love the result but am not sure how id take it into maya and retopo it or even if its possible, is more the question, trying to make it into a card seemed to just brake the texture and would not work with the hairs that are staying away?
