Hey Guys im creating another gun^^ But this time i wanna try out a workflow, where i just create a boolean mesh inside maya and use dynamesh + polish in Zbrush to get to my highpoly So lets give it a try ^^
Hey so i tried this workflow, where i send a booled mesh from maya to zbrush and use the polish slider there to create the highpoly
thats what it looks now! so now i only have to finish up the lowpoly and texture it Lets see how it will turn out! the lowpoly is quite far already, maybe i will already publish the finished piece today
@lluc21 thanks a lot man! @Firebert thanks! yea thats just gold xD so yea, i like how super super fast this workflow is, but of course it has downsides... for example creating the lowpoly... because normaly you can just use parts of your highpoly and get rid of supporters etc. but here you cant^^ so yea, it has pros and cons. But i guess i will use it again
What a fascinating workflow. I might have to try this out myself at some point. The results look really good. Were you able to easily make the lowpoly from the original Boolean model?
