Hey PolyCount forum,
I am currently working on a small animation project for university and for that im rigging a fish and a worm. I am very new to rigging and these are my first rigs I have ever done so its been difficult.
They eyelids of my rig are moving with driven keys but I noticed that after i bind the skin and move the mesh, the driven keys are not working properly.

I found out that this is not the proper way to do eyelids aready, but since I already did the weight painting and spent quite a while on this rig, i dont want to set up any more joints or something more complicated. Is there a work around or any other way to fix this?
Thank you for reading

Edit: Are those flying half spheres your eyelids?
