We are looking for a talented environment artist to
join our team and create high quality 3D environments for a multiplayer game.
A self-motivated and highly skilled artists with capable of
producing beautiful and artistic yet functional spaces will be considered immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Create high
and low polygon 3D environment assets for exteriors and interiors.
- Create UV Maps,
textures, and materials for assets following a PBR pipeline in UNREAL engine.
- Work with
level designers to develop a cohesive layout for 3D assets, resulting in a
beautiful, yet functional play space.
- Modify and
optimize assets based on artistic feedback and performance or memory
limitations.
- Design and
conceptualize 3D assets from reference images.
- Place world
assets to dress a scene and create strong environment storytelling, giving
context to game locations
- Creating
locations, to provide the best player experience possible.
- Work with
modular assets, in-game shaders.
- Model/Texture
objects and environments.
- Maintaining
production and optimization pipeline.
What are we
looking for?
- Great sense
of scale, proportion, and composition.
- Minimum of 5
years’ experience in working in the games industry on AAA titles.
- Proficiency
in level creation in modern Unreal game Engine.
- Strong
knowledge of art, visual communication and design principles.
- Great
Understanding of modular design and its functionality in the level creation
- Very Good
understanding of light and color-coding.
- Very good
understanding of how level design defines gameplay.
- Skilled at
designing and composing 3D backgrounds and realistic textures with game engines.
- Skills in 3D
Packages, Photoshop, Substance Painter/Designer knowledge.
- Knowledge of
physically based rendering (PBR)
- Ability and
desire to work in creative and collaborative teams.
