Hey guys. I just wrapped up and finished my new environment.
It's called Lamassu Mindscape. I'm very excited to share it.
Props were made for the occasion. All are hand sculpted in Zbrush. I then baked and textured in Painter.
Assembled and lit in Unreal.
The project actually started with the idea of just honing my skills in Zbrush by sculpting a prop larger then what I usually do. I got inspired by Mesopotamian myths as well as ancient Sumerian and Assyrian art. That is how I went into making the Lamassu.

Once I had first drafts of the statue though, I decided to try and give it an environment too.
A part from my props, the only thing sourced from elsewhere are a few decals from Quixel plus a smoke and fire animation sheet I got from a random place.
It was lots of fun and I learned a few things I didn't know that well for extracting and making better normals from sculpts.
