A hybrid of flora and fauna is the best I can describe it. I have been playing around with the idea of combining animal lifeforms with strange plant life and this piece is an exploration of that concept. Inspired by speculative evolution, cryptozoology and creature concept design I wanted to make something that is stylized, whimsical and strange-looking.
