Hi everyone!
I am working on Mossberg shotgun and a bit stuck with this small piece.
I can't decide whether this UV unwrapping is suitable for a game-ready model.
Aren't there too many UV islands and visible seams?
Bake looks OK to me but I can be mistaken.
I will deeply appreciate any critique and advice you can give!

When you do the whole shotgun UVs there will be a lot of small islands that will fill those empty spots in those "C"s. Or you can straighten them and still get the same number of islands but with a little bit less wasted space.

I notice that your UV are really pieced and you have a mess result on your UV space.
It's not a big problem, but it could be if you texture/draw the mesh (as example with write, detail..)
I would like to show you how you can improve them:
The blue lines are my suggestion where cut the edges.
I'd try to keep the handle as a unique piece that you can open trough one long edge.
The same for the 'big body' of gun, you could cut the two round base.
The last suggestion is to try to keep a little space between the pieces (it will more easy to texture if you need to paint 2D directly on tail)
    Hope this help you :)
