Moved some stuff around, the scene looked better with the preview lighting LOL. Time to sort out this mess.. Couldnt sleep properly for the last 2 days and it shows a lot. Reminds me of the good ol college days LOL
Alright, after some solid sleep and about 6 hours of work (most og which I was waiting for the lighting to build) this is what I got, already looking way more class I think. Really focuing on the bigger picutre without going into details yet.
Solid stuff. I would mention the weird reflection on the left side bricks but i think its still WIP so maybe it will go away after the final build. Keep at it.
PS: good thing that you didnt go in that direction... . It was a bit too sinister.

Thanks man! Yeah im worried about it because its the way light bounces from the back wall and gives off that type of weird lighting, I really dont know what to do with it.
You could use an AO map in the specular channel or an inverted AO map in the roughness channel. That would limit reflections in cavities and angled surfaces. Another thing i would try is to lower the normalmap intensity. The wall is not lit by a light source directly so the normalmap doesnt do much anyway.

Great idea! Thanks man, I will get to it a bit later.
Quick update, this is one of the environments that got me a job and got recruiters more interested in me! So happy, now onto proffesional envrionemnt art adventures!
