Instead of working off a piece of concept art I decided to recreate a diorama I found online.
I have really enjoyed working from this diorama having lots of photos to work from, plus the level of detail that has gone into this piece is really helpful.
For this project I have mainly being using blend masks and trim sheets for the texturing process. I haven't used blend masks before but I defiantly will in future projects, I can see why they are used in game art production.
I don’t really have too many progress shots as I hadn't planned to document my progress. As you can see from the images I still have a lot of work to do, I'm currently modelling the tractor that sits inside the garage. Any feedback or help is appreciated.

I like the lighting the most. Is it fully baked?
Maybe at the end of this you can post close ups of the individual props.
Good luck!
Yes I will include some close ups of the individual props in my next update
I thought I would post a progression update on how the scene is coming along.
Since my last update I have been working on modelling and set dressing of the interior of the Gas Station.
I don't think I have much left to do in the scene, I have some more props I want to make to add more story to the scene and then I need to do a decal pass to help make the scene feel more grounded.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
My only complaint is the AO which is kinda strong. I would either turn it down a bit or increase its radius.
I feel you could add a lot more to the materials though, they seem a bit flat atm. For example, a lot more variation in the roughness to compliment the lighting would go a long way. As well as some weathering through colour variation and height information would really add character to this workshop environment as dirt and rust are quite common in this type of environment so it would add a lot more familiarity to the scene
Looking forward to how this progresses man!
I'm looking for some feedback myself so if you have the time I would really love to hear your feedback on my recent forum of my personal project I just finished. thanks!
@KW_Arts I agree that my materials need a bit of work, I'm currently working through them at the moment and tweaking them so they aren't as flat.
I will pop over to your thread and give some feedback
Since my last update I have been tweaking with the post settings trying out some LUT's, I have also been creating some more props for the scene.
