This is my WIP high poly for a Cyberpunk style machine gun. I'm currently working on the grip area but I welcome crit for any part of the project. This model is going to be baked down to a normal map.
Here's an update, I left most of the normal issues pointed out as I'm most likely going to change the topology of these spots to be a little more interesting or at least make them easier to clean up. This includes the box magazine and grip area, which I have circled in blue.
Bit of a jump here, I landed on this texture pass a couple of weeks ago before starting on a new piece. Any advice on what I can do to get this texture to a good spot?
I'm working on this in substance painter and rendering in Marmoset toolbag.
