Hi there, so I've been practising facial likeness sculpting for the first time on Zbrush so I decided to recreate this art 'Bellamina's Blood Fist' by Arhiee and concept by Shirin.

Im currently looking into trying to change facial proportions so it fits the OG artwork, but whenever I do at this stage, I just end up not liking it and moving back to a previous state of development. If anybody could help me figure out how to get it more like the original, that'd be great! A note on what brushes/tools to use to accomplish this would be awesome too, since im still learning.

Below are a couple more images for more perspective.

Biggest things to me are that her neck is a bit too long and her face looks too narrow. I would widen her face a bit and maybe shrink her eyes too. You can always test this is Photoshop with liquify etc. to see if that's where you want to go

Thanks for the feedback, yeah I was thinking the eyes are a bit big but looking at the concept, I kept thinking it appears a tad bit smaller than what it actually is because of the shadow and mascara, but I'll try shrink it down anyway and see how it goes. and hadn't thought of the neck, it looks somewhat fine without the hair but yeah, I'll give that a shot!

I agree, neck is too long. Looking at the matcap I thought you're making something like a coin graver. The neck and chest are really flat. Check some stylized 3d models to get an idea, at what angle the neck and chest are connected.

The nose might look better with a bit more volume or shape, on the concept it's pretty round.

I'm not sure about the eyes, it's like each looks away at a different angle. You mirrored them, so the shading doesn't match, and it might give the impression that they are not straight.

    Thanks for the feedback @tysiu
Naw, I think im gonna make it into a full body game character in the future, but a coin graver doesn't sound like a bad idea either :D!
Hm I see what you mean about the nose, I'll see if I can add more volume like you said. I think the Skin shader material im using doesn't help me see things too well either.
I did mirror the right eye and apply different shady polypaint to the left, but I'll see if I can amend the shading on it. Right now, I'll focus on making the eyes a tad smaller and seeing where things go, appreciate the feedback.
