I made an example of some of the letters that made up my name and planned to move them on the Unity game engine, and it was necessary to make them (real-time rendering stuff ) or Latters in my case ! so without any farther drifting here is the Charcter A( A)
I have so many issue . here is one of my zigy zag ... normal map art effect
edited: Cool, hmmm seems possible, i would manually scratch the edges in substance designer, if seams do not matter & you already unwrapped your Letter A, then split it at the area's you want these scratches to be then in this situation add subdivisions (non-destructive subd's) to your base letter A for instance and use that as a "high poly " to "bake down" from to get a good curve to work with the edges on. You only want the scratches so it should work out.
Was looking through pinterest for some inspiring pieces that stand out and look professional, i like what you got also just wanting to mention them to show the edges scratched on them to give more ideas and direction that you might like. This looks neat & This looks neat Hope it helps.
