Upgrading GPU, from GTX 970

Good day Polycounters,

I'm looking into upgrading GPU and everything I read points at the RTX cards.

I'm eyeing the 2060 but was wandering if, for the extra cash, the super variant would be a better

investment. Looking at my options, the price gap is roughly $150.

It's primarily for Substance painter (speed, stability) and Arnold.

I looked at the GPU section before and since the 2060 wasn't there (only the super) I

didn't want to assume the non super version was a bad choice.

Either card will be a nice boost from my 970. But can't really tell how much better the super

will be in Substance. Might be a better investment for long term though.

The Geforce 2060 is a good card, much faster then the 970, but in most places the price was the same as the Super (that's why it wasn't on the list). Looks like thats changed and you can get it for cheaper now, so I added it back to the list.

That said, the 2000 series is mostly discontinued now, and starting with the higher end cards the 3000 series will begin replacing them starting next month.
