Hey,

I was wonder how other artists work when translating a 2D stylized character concept drawn from one angle into 3D. Specifically matching the 2D silhouette and making sure the 3D looks good from all angles.

Do you overlay the concept first and set up a camera in zbrush that matches and check it constantly during sculpting?  Or do you sculpt in zbrush by eye and then when its nearing completion overlay the concept and make tweaks to the 3d silhouette til it matches?  How do you account for dodgy perspective angles in a concept drawing that might not work in 3D whilst still wanting to maintain a faithful 1:1 from 2D to 3D?

Hope that makes sense... any advice? :)
