after saying hello to you guys , and saying its been ages im jumping to my mind sticky point which is how thats 3point shader work , i tried xiolul shader and it didnt work for some reason for both (max2012 and max 2009) and i switch to another view port shader and i found the 3 point shader pro . and i cant use it as right as it should be , also i would be grateful if you show some 3 point shader work or pointing me to see more i already seen the main imges that from the founder which i dont know his name also i would like to know is there other view port shaders that work on max2009 and max 2012 , and i know whats is the new physical material does a good job but im not interested in physical material yet .... so many reasons i cant makkke non messy topics sorry help me out

3point shader is by @perna. Unfortunately the website is a 404, so I bet it's not supported anymore.

You could however make your own viewport shader with Shader FX, which is included in 3ds Max.
Physical Material is the successor to the older Shader FX workflow, but the lighting wasn't fixed until recently. So if you're staying in older versions of Max, then Shader FX is the way to go.
You're best outcome will be to use the Max 2021 and the Physical Material.
its nice but that would be cool if i have 3dsmax 2015 and newer but i only have 2009 and 2012
