Crackle texture: Painter or Designer?

Hey guys,

I need to cover an object with the material below. I'm a basic Substance Painter user, and have not used Designer at all. I'm wondering if the material can be done in Painter or if this is a Designer project? The black areas are raised so that the material is somewhat 3 dimensional.

Any tips on getting this done will be appreciated!

Isn't it one of those rare materials you can perfectly do from just a single photo

Hi gnoop. You mean like with Alchemist? That might work - not too familiar with Alchemist either.

You don't need anything fancy, just photoshop , gimp or whatever.  Your texture height is basically same image inverted. You need just crop, offset, clone over seams and do couple gradient maps for height and roughness
