Bigfoot film - match my 3D model's movements to the Bigfoot?

Hi all, noob here,
Using Blender, and have obtained a copy of the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film, and trying to figure out how to
identically match its movements on video- walking/turning head, etc- to that of my 3d model.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Are you able to share any progress? and since the footage begins with a walk cycle, then I'd suggest starting from there.
