There is a "Gradient Smithy" plugin
https://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/gradientsmithy.htm That allows you to instantly get a gradient from a picture. But it saves gradients not in the standard Photoshop format + it is already very outdated
Does anyone know newer versions of such plug-ins? Or maybe there is another way to get a gradient for Photoshop from a picture?
I used it for coloring AO. Usually I selected the gradient manually, but sometimes it’s easier to take it from a suitable photo.

Most probably not.
«Everything keeps steering me toward using LUTs though. File>Export>Color Lookup Table to save one, and Image>Adjustmnets>Color Lookup to load and apply it.»
LUTs are not what I need. He just saves all the adjustment layers and then they can be superimposed on other images, like fiolters. And that’s it.
