Moving on with some more assets...Average polycount per model is 6k triangles (I think I could tweak down some curves). Next are curtains, bed and pillows!
Didn't have much time this week, but I managed to make a trim sheet and also a more polished chair and showcases (not final). Lighting is of course just raw, I'm planning to use emissive lights for the lamps.
After a pause for the holidays, here they come some updates! The library still lacks some of the decors from the original concept, I'll sculpt them later.
So I started to set a bit of mood into the scene, painted out the diffuse for the emissive lights and added some textured assets ( even tough they aren't polished yet ). That curtain's tieback is awful, I will probably make it from scratch again...
So I'm polishing lighting while I'm working on some more small props. I definetly need to make more interesting the desk area, I want to make it more messy and rich of details. I also started experimenting with caustics, need to work more on them too. lastly I have to model the diver suit!

I've also set up a few raw bakes...
Next, it will be time for some rocks!

Added some photoscanned minerals and also some more assets.
Those minerals required 100 photos each, which where then processed into Agisoft Photoscan.
After quite some time, I've came back to this scene.
I'm trying to get a more "deep into the ocean" vibe, with some more blue and green overall.
You should be able to add a material function on the floor - perhaps mask it out to only appear in important areas.
