[Still Looking] - Will be updated once I find an artist
I'm hoping to find an experienced artist with a unique stunning art style to collaborate with.
I'm looking for an artist that I can turn their art into a small fun game.
I would like to really emphasize the word small.
I'm not going or looking for open world projects, on-going projects and online games. People who go for those project tend to underestimate everything. Knowing your limits and what you can and cant do is a key for success.
I'm also not interested in on-going projects or already established teams.
I want an experienced artist who I can work with closely and passionately. This is a collaboration after all.
We will come up with an idea together from start to end and work as a team.
You are serious and free to work on the project as much as you can. I'm fully devoted for this/
you have an experience already in making art. I'm sorry, this isn't for beginners.

it can be pixel art if you are 2D artist
it can be lowpoly if you are 3D artist
anything creative and simple.
To get a feeling of what I'm looking for, I compiled a pinterest folder of art that would make me excited to work with :

I will create a trello board to track the and progress the development.
I will create a plan from A-Z to see the end result of the project.
I will create a github repo for version control. This doesn't really concern the artist. I'm treating this project professionally, not just a hobby.
I will create a storage folder using google drive to share assets and stay organized.
This is a small project that should not go over 2 months of development.
I'm able to program the whole game. In other words, the game mechanics, the AI, the input system, the physics, the animation system .. etc. Whatever it is, hopefully, I'll be able to solve it.
I have a strong background in math, physics, linear algebra, and algorithms.
It is hard to give credibility to what I'm saying because most of my work is code. Nonetheless, here are some prototypes and mechanics I implemented that hopefully could give some credibility to my words:
- This was my first project, which dates back to 5 years ago when I started to learn programming. I'm still proud of it because I was a novel at the time. Everything was made from scratch including the art. inspired by the mini game crash bash pogo painter :
- a tetris spinoff ? a circular tetris:

- an inventory system with a pick up/drop/inspect system:
- a simple small game without a game engine. Just OpenGL and C++:
I can't show all my work because I intend to publish some of it commercially
My goal is to add another project to my portfolio. I don't care about profit or selling the game. If anything, I'm looking forward to meeting a really good artist and have them as a connection.
