So my metal band is getting back together, and I got super inspired to make this amp that I've got my sights on. I'm a little hazy on how to put the internal workings together (except for the tubes) because it's hard to see and know what everything is. But seeing as the focus won't be on those items anyway, it'd probably be easy to fudge for this project.
Added knobs, buttons, switches, etc. plus the expanded metal. Next step is to fix the corner metal pieces (they're not quite right), and put in the vent holes in the back as well as the cavities for all of the input jacks.
Put in the internal components (or, apart from the tubes, what I perceive them to be). Will add some random wires inside as well to make it look a little more realistic.
Added internal wires and sculpted rubbery handle via ZBrush. Next task is to create a woven mesh material that goes right behind the front large grill (see reference). I'm not the best at Designer, so I hope I don't screw that part up too badly.
Texturing. I fixed the gap between the case and the corner pieces that I noticed on the low poly. Also, I can tell I need to dial back the roughness on the vinyl covering on the case, as well as increase the creases on the material. I may just make one from scratch in Designer.
Textures. Need to add lettering to the back, plus the emblems on the front. Additional adjustments needed for the metallic materials. Also, there are more objects on the inside, as I recently discovered from purchasing and using this amp IRL. But still pleased with the progress, nevertheless.
