Hey guys! I've been currently working on another piece.

This lovely artwork by Ivan Kunakh titled "Oh, well!" caught my eye, so I've decided to create a 3D Model of it.

Here's my current progress:

I'm almost finished with the highpoly, only a few things like the grass/foliage and the cross-like metal thingy are missing.

The next steps are doing the retopo & UV mapping in 3D Coat, baking in Substance Painter.

Not sure if I'll follow the PBR or hand painted workflow. But if anyone has constructive critiques, feel free to comment.

Struggling to find something to critique

Maybe it's just the field of view but it feels like the top of the ceiling is bigger in the illustration. Also the roof tiles look to me a bit plasticky, I would try to get more sharp edges in that area. Can't wait to see the textures.

I love the concept and your current highpoly but yeah it seems that a fed details are bigger in the concept. Maybe try to catch the angle of the concept and lay your mesh on top to see if there is really a difference.
