I'll start with my method just in case that helps. I use Robert Ramsay's hair designer and make my hair strands/cards, I make my planes in Maya and adjust the UV's of the planes to fit the designated hair strands. I import it into Zbrush - I find it easier to manipulate the hair cards in there - then I export the hair all the subtools together into an OBJ. I import it into marmoset and throw in the mask into the transparency slot set to dither and G channel.
My problem is the dither is so strong on the hair that you can see through under the skin unless i stack an unnecessary amount of hair cards on top of each other. However, all these marmoset hair tutorials don't look like they're having this issue and they look clean and sharp.
Images are posted through links below. Is this something I can fix in marmoset or something that has to do with my hair cards?
