Hey everyone, been working on an interior modular submarine environment to learn Blender. I'm moving from Maya to Blender, needless to say there were growing pains. I've been enjoying the software and have worked out a pretty decent workflow. I wrote a few custom macros and scripts to help productivity. I'll share after this project is over, maybe do a breakdown of the tools and the pieces I made and why.
With the main skeleton of the environment done, I'm excited to tell the story with detailed props and environment pieces and add detail with the textures. Playing with a few ideas but thought I'd share the modular progress anyway. Blender, ZBrush, and Substance are my main tools. Plan on doing fly-throughs in Unreal eventually. Thanks for stopping by!
