Saiya-Slash team is looking for a highly skilled level designer/environment artist who will be able to make one level for our fan-made Dragon Ball Project.
The level designer/environment artist
will create one level based on a document we will be providing them which explains the details of what will be happening within the level while also providing references. The level designer will be in communication with the lead game designer regularly to make adjustments and discuss about design decisions in order to create a fun, accessible and a kickass level.
The level designer will go over multiple re-iterations of their work until the level has been approved to be developed. Afterwards, the level designer will then commence with the environmental art process by creating assets, texturing and sculpting the level, then finally lighting it. This will start on the 6th of June.
Requirements:
- Professional Environmental Art Skills (can develop assets, and work on landscapes to produce quality art for a level)
- Solid lighting art skills (understands how to light levels based on the tone of the game)
- Solid level design skills (can develop greyboxes, and create layouts)
- Has experience utilizing Unreal Engine 4's sequencer for cinematic moments.
- Makes fun levels!
- Passionate about Dragon Ball.
- Can take constructive criticism
- PREFERRED: Has experience playing Bayonetta, Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden.
- PREFERRED: good understanding of combat design.
