Hello everyone!

I'm about to finish my Bachelors studies in game design, and for my final project I created a game-ready environment. I set out to create different models and textures to create an asset set which could be used for building the whole environment in Unreal Engine. My idea for the environment was to build a small town on top of a lake, that would be surrounded by a swampy environment, with forest further away from the shore. My intent was to have a late evening atmosphere with a thick fog to add depth and some mystery to my scene.

Here's what I ended up with in the end:

As I need to gather some feedback about it, I would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to share your thoughts about the first impression. For feedback I opened a simple form in Google Forms: https://forms.gle/Y7cb2fFFdZ6Est676

Some screenshots from the project as well:

Thank you for your time!

Looks neat :) Here's some crit for ya

    - I think the beams holding up the houses should be thicker than those holding up the docks.
    - The planks textures have a blotchy moss/mold, and it's a little too blotchy, on every single piece. Would be good to have less moss and then have one or two really mossy pieces. Planks would look good if they were twice as long. The normal map on the plank grain should be turned down a lot.
    - Your dirt path texture needs a lot of work. It looks really amateur. The transition from grass to dirt texture also looks super blurred.
    - Your grass is pretty uniform. I'd suggest getting some other plants in there to break it up a little. I also think you should throw in a few grass clumps with less grass blades here and there.
    - Whats up with that grey texture at the very tops of the houses? They are weird, and I can also see some repeating textures there.
    - The houses could use some life. Plants and flowers and such.

    Thanks for your feedback

Most points you brought up I already had thought about, but I just ran out of time in the end. Original intention was to create 3-4 different plants and a couple more grass variations. I also had planned to go over the textures of houses and planks as the last thing, especially the moss and rooftop metal part, but as these things usually go my 2nd hard drive died with all my Painter files.
