Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody would recommend a skin shader from the unity store. Don't need anything crazy, just something that looks nice and quick and easy to configure (think Marmoset).

Thanks!

Which pipeline? HDRP already has Subsurface Scattering built-in.

PBR. So it should have basic scattering as well and be good for that purpose? (Not a unity user BTW, I might be asking obvious things here)

That's not what he means. He's asking what Unity renderer. as there are several now.

Unity has recently updated it's renderer. all future projects going forward from now should use SRP or HDRP. The old standard pipeline is basically going to be depreciated and not see further development afaik.

Like mentioned, the HDRP lit shader has SSS built in. You have access to custom diffusion profiles if need be. It's probably the way to go unless you have something very specific in mind that it cannot actually do.

Ah okidoki. So the out of the box solution is perfectly fine then? thanks!
