so im optimising some characters. however even tho the skeleton still is linked, the animations dont work. so as a test i exported the character into maya, exported without changing anything and it still didnt work (the animations arent in the maya file. they're applied to it). any ideas of settings i need to change in maya or UE?

Need more info though for people to help you. Workflow specifics. Where are the animations from originally. Screenshot of the problems. etc.
