Cool concept and good start. One thing that is standing out to me is that her eyes seem quite far apart and I think if you want to go for that anime style face, I'd lengthen her face and make her chin a little more pointed. Look forward to seeing this
yeah I think it´s better, there is some more stuff I think you could take a look at tho. Mind you I don´t really do stylized stuff so maybe I´m not looking at this with the right eyes but I think these things could be worked on a little
Thanks a lot @JohannesAg it will really be helpful ^^
I'm trying to emulate the style that can be found in Korean and Chinese artists' works, but a solid anatomy is always the best to start so I really appreciate your diagram
Thanks for the feedback @kanga I've tried to apply what you advised me. I needed to change a bit the skull since it was a male skull and there are some differences with a female one. And I'm not sure if what I did improve the anatomy or if it made it worse
I will study a bit more the face's anatomy and how to apply it and will come back with I hope a better sculpt but as always I will be very happy to hear the community's feedbacks
This is where my work is at the moment for the face. I think I will take a break from the sculpt to study a bit more the anatomy. In the meantime I will start the clothes' retopology. I think this part will take some time since I want to render my character in Unreal with an optimized polycount.
The topology looks pretty good! The head is way cuter now. I would try to give it another pass though, it kinda feels to me like it is in between two styles, some parts are realistic and some parts are more on the anime stylised side. The neck feels too thick, and some features of the face like the brow area or the nose too defined imo. I would also recommend as earlier said to refine the oral commisure a bit, pull it inwards a little bit. You could make a quick blockout of the hair to help you nail the look of her face aswell.
Thanks you @Nandx ^^ I will try that with the hair it might be easier indeed, also from your point of view what parts are still too realistic looking ?
Another update this time with the baking and the beginning of the the face's texture, it's mostly procedural so it won't be a problem if I change the face's structure later.
