Heya!
It's been awhile since I've done some serious hard surface stuff, and I realized I'm super out of practice. So I thought I might share what I'm working on and get some thoughts.
I'm curious to hear what workflows/tips might be recommend. I'm unsure of what an effective workflow for something like this might be, so I'm just kind of winging it.
My plan so far is to model it in Maya and then when all my shapes and bevels are there to take that into Zbrush for high frequency level detail. Let me know your thoughts!
The concept I'm working from is a medieval Eva based on the concept art by Jeff Chen.

Here's my update with everything blocked in! Figure I'll do a second pass at modeling before posing and then getting into zbrush with it.
Now that I've been staring at it for so long I can't help but get some FMA vibes from this as well.
Also have been spending a bit of time on the design as well, taking a lot more liberties from the concept art than I originally intended.
