Because I am not busy enough, obviously, and only have 5 other projects to finish.... I decided to start another interim project. I am following along with the principles of Gael Kerchenbaum's online course using student interviews and webinars, and learning a bit more about accurate animal anatomy. He gets his students to start at the very beginning - make a skull, skeleton, add muscles, skin, pose. So that's what I am going to do. I also want to explore making fur, so this is a good opportunity as well. Hoping to actually participate in that course directly one day, maybe in the autumn! (I am still planning on completing my other projects as well, I just got distracted as usual...)
I was going to start with a greyhound, but in the end went with a hyena, because I love their proportions.
