I got a simple particle effect that does what it is supposed to do. The proble is ,that it is only visible when it is at a certain height (I need to render it from above). When I duplicate the effect and put it to a higher position it become svisible. WHen I select both and move both with the camera (shift + move) you can clearyl see that there is some kind of height barrier where they drop their visibility.
What I checked so far:
- fog
- occlusion bounds
- LODs
- camera facing settings
- using the exact same efect in another project (where it works!)
- changing the engine scalability settings
I´m really out of ideas why it won´t render slightly above the ground. And no, the particle sprites do not intersect into the groudn and become invisible because of that.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
