Hey guys so I can use some feedback on this girl that I'm working on. some tips on how to make her more like the concept will help greatly, what can I I do to make it feel right, how show a approach her armor and plates plus some stuff to look out for!
I need help with how can I make her armor. How should I begin, how can I make the high poly look smooth and not bumping, what should I look out for when doing the process.

I would block out armor pieces roughly with dynamesh in zbrush. Once you have your shapes blocked in this way, I would retopo them to get clean versions. You can crease edges in a 3d modeling package or even with zbrush. You can start with extracting pieces from your body in zbrush to get shapes for ur armor pieces.
I'd look into Maya Boolean modeling scripts. Would be a good time to learn it now on top of using Zbrush as a way to sketch the forms, and retopologizing them in Maya.
