Rendering sequence with particles that need build up time

Hello everyone.

I need to render a sequence with a camera animation and some smoke particles.
The problem is, the smoke needs a looot of time to build up and be in the state I want to render it. I know there is a warmup option in the render window, but it actually does not help with the smoke particles. My workaround to get it rendered is to create a large camera cut, put all my animations far right and give the camera a single keyframe that shows all the smoke particles and give that enough time/ frames to build up before the part of the sequence I want starts. Yes, that gives me a lot of unecessary frames but I do get the ones I need.

But there has to be a better way to do this.
- Is there a way to have the particles always in their final state without the buildup?
- do I have to increase the particles bounds to have them always `visible`in the camera (if so, how?)
- what am I missing here? : (

Really appreciate any insight here!
Thanks.
