Yesterday I finished this 3D model of an axe. I would appreciate any comments
and critiques.
I used Blender 2.8, Zbrush and Substance Painter.
It was inspired from a concept art by
Wesley Trutwin. I really love the shape, but I ended up changing the colors.
It was really fun working on this and it turned out better than what I expected. I was sort of just having fun after work. There are some mistakes there, but I felt like I didnt want to cover them up in Photoshop. I prefer to look at my mistakes and learn from them.

in terms of critique I think you can play with saturated colours in the albedo and I can't really tell if the red on the handle is paint or blood. Furthermore your straps are pretty high poly compared to te rest of the mesh.
