So I was working on a scifi door and had a problem when trying to add tiny booleans on the corners which were causing weird artifacts and I was unable to solve even after looking for straight 1 hour from forums to forums and tutorials and thought about remeshing the whole mesh and then boolean it which worked pretty well.
I want to know about some cons that it could cause later of making a game ready asset (maybe retopo....?) or any suggestions would be appreciated:)
here's the issue
And here's the remeshed version
Replies
A: of your original problem
B: of the remeshed model
Also you could add what you want to do with the asset. If it's a game ready model a remeshed object is probably too highpoly, yes.
This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks
