Zbrush and the task bar

I want zbrush to not go over my task bar. Is there some option I've missed?
Bc if I set it manually from time to time it reverts to fullscreen and thus hides the task bar again -.-

Dunno, but its unhandy. My zbrush 2019 doesn't like the taskbar either. Also the app will minimize to the taskbar and gets stuck there. Its the only app I have that does this. Following this thread hoping someone chimes in.

Well you could always run it as a floating window and resize so it doesn't overlap the task bar, couldn't you. Not very convenient I know but Zbrush has been doing that for ages, perhaps always.

I'm more bugged personally by the removal of the 'Menu' button in the Z2020 I installed - no way to hide the default menu bar with the horrible alphabetically sorted layout anymore.

Reverted to the old version right away.

You know.. that's exactly what I did
But as I said from time to time zbrush kind of 'forgets' it..

Oh ok, I thought you meant you had it working with the task bar visible in fullscreen somehow and then all of a sudden not anymore.

Zbrush window/UI is one of the most disgusting things on earth. 
That fade in/out when you open/close zbrush makes me want to shake a baby until its dead.
also, that alphabetically menu layout.... oh don't get me started on hating zbrush UI.

I'am raging... sorry.

This button is back in 2020.1.1

You can change the duration of this Fade in the preferences, or even remove it entirely.

You have to go to Preferences -> Config -> Store Config and that will save the window size and position. You still have to resize it manually, but if you do it precisely and store the config, zbrush will "remember" your "fullscreen with taskbar" window setup...
