Any suggestion for a Marvelous Designer course?

So recently I've been experimenting with MD, and there isn't much information about it out there (comparing to other 3D softwares). There seemed to be a course on Udemy back in the days that is no longer available. I also found the CG Elves course, and there are also a few Individual tutorials. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion or a recommendation for a course, preferably with a focus on pants (including side pocket, back pockets, zipper fly, and buttons), or a private tutor that knows what they're doing, and can teach how to read sewing patterns.

Just grab one and the rest is experimenting and learning how to make real cloth.
Wouldnt be the first time an Artist does dismember some jeans or a jacket.

There are some free tutorials from Lori Griffith who is pretty much the best free source to learn about patterns and the basics of MD - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8TvrdenlitmEGs2tjnalsA

She also has a book that several people recommended me.

Personally I did a course at CGMA with John Gotch and he was great. While Griffith gets you the traditional sewing part, his course was a nice short one that showed the full pipeline for game artists.

I'd do Lori Griffiths to learn basic workflows and then buy a handful of premade outfits to reverse engineer (there's dozens on the MD website, and some on artstation too)

What I initially thought was similar to that. I assumed once I got the basics of sewing in MD, all I need is some sewing patterns, and it will be simple as complete a puzzle. But I was wrong.  I spent close to $50 on sewing patterns, and in some of them I really have no idea what I'm looking at or how the pieces come together. This has become a particular problem with trying to making pants. Shirts were easier to deal with.
I was hoping to avoid some trial an error and save myself some time by using a course. But with tutorials seem to have starting price of $20, I want to be sure that I'm paying for good quality. So far I didn't find any proper tutorial for fully functional pants (with pockets and zipper working properly). The package on CG Elves, seem to be a lot cheaper and a lot more extensive, considering how many tutorials they actually put there and t he variety of fabrics (cheap if you consider their discount coupon). Though they too seem to have problems with sewing pockets on their pants. https://cgelves.com/courses-workshops/mastering-marvelous-designer/?v=88588bacf0da

I started with free tutorials on YouTube. Paying for education wasn't my first instinct. I really enjoyed Daniel and Travis Davis

As for Lori Griffiths, I didn't find her helpful at all. Thought it's possible its simply because I find the slow robotic voice extremely annoying.
But I did take a look at her pants video.

At 15:00 into the video. She doesn't really explain how she made the seamless side pocket (or maybe I just can't understand the explanation). And I'm not really sure how all the parts are connected together.

As for CGMA, how much did it cost? How many clothes did you create in this course? Was it a live lesson, or just a series of tutorials?

I thought about buying some premade outfits. Those who look like good quality seem to cost as much as tutorials. So I was hesitant about actually buying something.

As for the costs of the course (I did it back in 2016 or 17 as far as I remember) was around $ 500,-

The structure was that you get a video with 1-2hours of explanations/demonstrations then your homework was to recreate the things throughout the week and submit it. The instructor reviewed it and gave you a personal feedback video at the end of the week before the weekly Q&A session. There was also a class forum to post questions. It was a 5 week course.

The first class had just some simple cushions to learn sewing and the basics of the program. Then you did a shirt, pants and a sweatshirt, plus getting it into ZBrush through Maya. You could also do additional things and get feedback for it.

For Lori*s videos - I haven't watched them since back when I started. 'Annoying' voice or not, she give for free a very complete introduction into MD and sewing in general, so I won't complain and instead thank her.  I don't remember the videos in detail, but I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't explain the basics of the program in every single video from scratch and instead builds up on previous ones.
