Pretty good start. I like the idea and the contrast between foreground and subjects, infact, the lighting is good.
Needs a little more detail on the characters and more to describe what the ruins are (the pillars). The rock they are on could do with making more believable (it could collapse at the moment and wouldn't form like that I don't think) You could work the clouds a little more and apply a gradient to the sky... just ideas i had.
