Maybe I'm stupid but currently the biggest issue we have with mixer is that we can't simply open mixes from -some- location. Like File->Open->Browse to Mixer Project XML file.
How is this meant to work in a complex work environment with files located in a repository and locally checked out on probably very different drive letters / paths?
Under the current limitations of Mixer, you would ideally create a networked location that you'd point Mixer's "Mixer Files" location to. In the future I would not be surprised to see a return to a traditional Windows browser for opening files.

@kohg the mask system in Mixer is already far more powerful than anything in DDO - give it a shot!
