Hey guys, this post is the first in a long time. I started working on this game-ready scene, concept done by Arseniy Chebynkin. I hope he doesn't mind i use the concept because his lighting, color and rendering are truly phenomenal. I hope to get some crit, my eyes have been staring at this for too long   :s

My next steps will be extending the corridor, and adding a few small props in the class and corridor :)

    hey man,
solid start but i think that AO doesn't look very good. if you want to go the dynamic lighting and shadows way, i suggest increasing the radius of the AO to make it more "ambient".
the edges of the pillars and other objects are very sharp. although i don't agree with the saying that no edge is truly sharp, i do agree that most edges look better if they have some roundness or a slight chamfer/bevel.
i have never seen a ceiling so shiny, but that's just my experience, maybe it is a thing, but it should have some roughness variation, like the floorboards. also, the floorboards look like they are angled or something, and very repetitive. try looking at some references to see how floorboards react to light.
the doors in the second pic look too much like untreated wood. in real life wood gets treated with some oil in order to preserve it better. that process makes it darker and shinier than the untreated "naked" wood.

    good luck!

I agree with teodar on the roughness values in your scene. Try to reduce the shinyness of your main surfaces (wooden floor, ceiling) and then establish roughness detail in areas, where you want the viewers attention for the detail you put into the scene. For example on the chairs or the guitar case.
Overall I think you are on a good path, I really like the mood you are setting with the lighting.
Also modeling and texturing and your attention to detail (like the posters) are coming together well.
Composition wise you could experiment and move things around. I could imagine the Piano to be a main focus in your composition.
Looking forward to your progress on the scene!
