Maya to Marmotset - Glitch (?)

Hello,

I am rather inexperienced in 3d modeling so my technical talk isn't very good but I will do my best to explain the situation.

Issue: When I view my model in Marmoset I seem to be getting these glitches (I have highlighted them with red circles) they are covering key components that I need to be able to see in the render. They almost seem like they're open paths or something like that,  although when I view the model in Moi or Maya (which is part of my workflow and saved out as a .obj file before bringing into Marmoset) the model is presented as it should be and all of the paths seem to be closed. 

Is there some layer or highlight that is turned on? I have tried a number of things, including exporting the obj file with a very low N-gon count but nothing seems to make a difference, as soon as I open the model up in Marmoset, I get the glitches (no matter what material I assign to the layer)
