Hello, I recently dived into photorealistic renders. I have a reference photo which I'm trying to replicate, but I'm sort of stuck now.

Here's my reference photo

and here's my most recent render test (I'm working in Blender)

I don't have the exact same materials, cause limitations. The point here is that I would like to know how to achieve those hard shadows and also how to set up the lighting better so it looks more realistic.

I also have a little problem with the area light displaying in my mirror, which is not something I want.
Here's the blend file, if you need it.

Thank you for any help!

Shadow hardness/softness depends on the size of the light source so if you want sharp shadows, don't use such a big area light. Using the small light bulb as the light source would give you the result that you want.
