Hey all, I'm always lurking here and never posting so trying to make an effort to fix that
I'm working on a take on Legosi from the Beastars manga--it's been adapted into a 3D TV show that had its own interpretation but I wanted to go back to the 2D source material and give it my own spin.
Retopo and bakes are done and I'm getting into materials now--looking for ways to make him look scruffier. Probably going to do a pass of extra floating pieces & cards in the fur to make it look a little less like generic stylized videogame fur. I want to try and incorporate some of that colorful watercolor look in the textures too.
Starting to get colors and a base in! Experimenting with putting some puddles on the ground but I need to figure out what's the deal w/Marmoset's reflection settings.
Once the materials are finalized I want to do another fur pass of stray geo hairs and maaaybe cards. Will have to see how it looks. Excited to get to rigging & posing, though.

I think that wraps it up! I might do another pose & render later on, but wanted to get something out there for now.
