First animation experience, feedback is really needed

Hey everyone!
I have been working on a personal project and it's my first attempt to animate the character I have made. I am not sure if it is ok or not, so if you have any comment or critique or just anything to say about the way it looks like now - I would be really glad!

I think you have made a good start. Looks like he is swimming a bit. If you add 2 - 3 more bones to his wings and animate them hierarchly, it would look smoother.

Also you can try to watch slow motion bird wing flapping videos to understand how a wing move exactly.
