Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could share what rates they charge when doing miniature sculpting for 3d printing. I have a pretty good idea of how long something would take me to make, but not sure what rate is the going rate for the U.S.
Is it comparable to what someone would charge for interactive 3d? I had read the topic on freelancing, but that applied pretty much for game graphics that would involve low poly, high poly and textures, vs adhering a sculpt to a printers guidelines.
anyone willing to share please pm me or post your thoughts.
Thanks in advance!

I cannot recommend enough the gold standard for art contractors, the Handbook towards the bottom of that wiki page. Loaded!
(also, I added a question mark to your topic title. Without it, looks like you're providing info, rather than asking for it)
Ratewise, usually its by the hour and complexity of the model. I've also adjusted what I charge depending on model rights and limits of use.
