Hey PC,
I've finished the modeling portion of my Starcraft missile turret. However, since I've landed my job as a modeler (no textures), I've been solely practicing my modeling for high poly/film. Here is a concept by Mathieu Leyssenne which I aim to recreate. Excuse how long this is going to take me, as after I am done this, I will be going back to UV (ugh) and texture the turret before moving onto texturing this one.

The end result does look really great!
Some small things, about the concept vs the final: The concept has harsher lighting, with purpler purples and oranger oranges, and I also feel like the concept is quirkier, and has more imperfections, than the final model. I feel like multiplying an AO pass would bring out some of the darker darks I think are missing. But, what's done is done, and it really does look great.
